CDMA And DTCP Regularization Scheme for Unapproved Plots in Tamil Nadu has been launched by the state government. The scheme invites online applications for regularizing unauthorized plots and layouts created before 20.10.2016 in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu. An online portal has been launched wherein applicants can register themselves online and get a unique User ID and Password. The last date to apply for Layout registration is 3 November 2017

How to Make Online Application for Regularization of Unapproved Plots under CMDA & DTCP

  • Go to website;
  • Select application:
  • I – For Application in CDMA Area
  • II – For Application in DTCP Area
  • Click on User Registration & Fill CDMA/DCTP Application Form online
  • After successful completion of registration, the user will get his/her User ID and Password in his/her registered mobile. You can use  these credentials to check and track status and application stage.

You have to pay Rs. 10/- as regularization fees for every square feet in areas falling within city municipal corporation.Whereas, for municipalities and town panchayats, beside village panchayats, the fees to be paid would be Rs. 6/- and Rs. 3/- per square feet respectively.

Stages involved in Regularisation Scheme of Unapproved Plots/Layouts

There are two stages involved in regularization of unapproved plots/layouts under Tamil Nadu layout regularization scheme. They are:

1st stage – The layout is to be regularized by CMDA/LPA/Regional Deputy Directors, of Town and Country Planning Department concerned who will examine and issue an in-principle approved layout framework plan to the concerned local body.

2nd stage – Once plot ownership and payment collection balance regularization charge confirms, the local body concerned will issue regularization order and regularization plan for the plot as per the in-principle approved layout framework plan.
