Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Panipat that started few days back has jumped to its next level. As committed, the authority has released first installment for the selected beneficiaries of Panipat PM Awas Yojana. Around 597 people registered their names for PMAY Panipat out of which 471 beneficiaries have got the first installment for the construction of Pucca house in the state.

Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin, government provides financial assistance of 1 Lakh 20 Thousand to make pucca house in the region. This amount is distributed to beneficiraies in four stages:

  • First Installment – While laying the foundation of Pucca House
  • Second Installment – After completion of 50% of construction
  • Third Installment – After completion of 80% of construction
  • Fourth Installment – On completion of project

Besides this, if applicant wishes to construct a toilet under Swachh Bharat Mission, then he will receive Rs. 12,000 in separate for the construction of toilet.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 25 June 2017. The objective of this Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Panipat is to provide pucca house Poor people of nation. Applicants who do not own any house in India can only apply for the scheme.
