Good news for those who live in Jaipur as JDA is going to launch new housing scheme 2017 in November. As per the latest announcement, Jaipur Development Authority will construct 1306 residential flats for EWS, MIG, and LIG section of the society. The official notification is yet to come but the one has been published in the news report of Times of India.

Details about JDA Upcoming Housing Scheme 2017

JDA will construct affordable houses for Economical Weaker Section. Medium Income Group, and Lower Income Group of the society in November. Though, some private builders have developed these houses, but the JDA Housing Scheme 2017 for 1396 flats will fall under State Government’s Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana. This means, applicants can avail these flats at very affordable rates.

Location of Flats

The houses have already been constructed by private developers under Mukhyamantri Awas Yojna. These flats are located at zones 7, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14. Maximum number of flats have been constructed in Zone 14. Successful applicants will get a flat on affordable housing rates fixed by the state government.

Registration Process 

As soon as the official notification releases on the JDA portal, the registration for the scheme will start, instantly. Most probably, the mode of application would be online. But, the same of application forms and brochure could also be done via authorised centres. This all would be clear, once the authority releases an official notification.

The official said, “We have proposed to give priority to this model due to cold response from developers to construct EWS/LIG houses on private land. Though the final decision will be taken only after receiving approval from the cabinet”.
