Eligibility Criteria to Apply For Chandigarh Housing Board Demand Survey Form

If you are purchasing the form from Chandigarh Housing Board Reception Counter, you have to pay Rs. 10/- as registration fee to the officials. However, you can submit the demand survey form online at pmay-mis portal. If you upload the Chandigarh Housing Board Form online at pmaymis portal, you need not to pay Rs. 10/- as registration fee.

The last date to submit the CHB Demand Survey form is 20 April 2017.

Benefits of Chandigarh Housing Board Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Chandigarh Housing Board will offer two types of assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Housing for All mission:

  1. Credit Linked Subsidy
  2. Affordable Flats in Chandigarh

Under Credit Linked Subsidy, the board will offer financial assistance to the selected people living in Urban area of Chandigarh. They will get a interest subsidy @ 6.5% on Rs. 6 lacs using which they can construct their house, add rooms, kitchen, toilet etc to their existing house. In short, Credit Linked Subsidy allows the beneficiary to get a loan at subsidized interest rate of 6.5% which is far less than prevailing loan rates of 9%. So, if an applicants gets his name selected under Chandigarh housing Board Credit Linked Subsidy, he/she will be able to avail benefit of this reduced interest rates and construct his house easily.

However, there is a condition to this Credit Linked Subsidy scheme. The carpet area of houses being constructed or developed under this mission should be upto 30 square meters for EWS and 60 square meters for LIG.

The second motto of this Demand Survey forms is to provide affordable flats to eligible beneficiaries of Chandigarh under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
